History

It’s been over 40 years since our Flour Mill was established. Only since 1973 Fiji started getting flour that was milled right here in Fiji. FMF had setup Fiji's first flour mill as "Suva Flour Mills Co Ltd" which imported premium Australian wheat and milled flour for everyone.

Our flour reached beyond the shores of Fiji. It was loved by all in the pacific and became a renowned household brand across the Pacific. The company name was later changed to "Flour Mills of Fiji Ltd" from which originated the "FMF" brand.

With growth in demand from both local and export markets we extended to manufacturing wholemeal flour, semolina, noodle flour, and other associated, specialty products such as Wheatgerm, Chakki Flour, Atta Flour, Pea Flour (Besan) and Premixes.

As opportunities arose we have added new businesses to the original business of flour milling. This included

  • Milling of rice and peas
  • Biscuit manufacturing
  • Snack manufacturing of potato chips, Dalo (Taro) & Cassava chips
  • Instant noodles manufacturing
  • Cardboard carton manufacturing

Ever since, our production has grown manifold. With a vast range of food products, it was only appropriate to reflect this in the company name which was changed to FMF Foods Limited in 2011. While the name of the company and its profile may have changed over the years, our original commitment towards our customers remains unchanged, if only stronger.
