These are quintessential snack food in Fiji. Take it up a notch with this special Nimkin made with FMF Normal Flour and serve it with some special chutneys and watch them fly.
What you'll need?
  • 2 cups FMF Normal Flour
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp jeera (Cummin seed)
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • Chilli to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp ghee or butter
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • Water to make dough

What to do?

  1. Sift flour and salt and add 2 tbsp ghee or butter and rub well. 
  2. Add all the spices and water and make a stiff dough. Knead well and let it rest covered for 1/2 an hour. Knead again
  3. Roll out very thin and cut into desired shapes. 
  4. Heat oil and fry on medium heat until golden brown and crispy. 
  5. Remove and put on paper towels.
