The Batter

  • 2 cups of FMF Babakau mix
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 quart vegetable oil for frying
  • 10 chicken sausages
  • 10 wooden skewers (optional)

The Method

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the Babakau mix, salt, pepper, stir in the milk.
  2. Preheat oil in a deep saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Insert wooden skewers into sausages. Roll sausages in batter until well coated
  4. . Fry 2 or 3 corn dogs at a time until lightly browned, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  5.  Serve hot with tomato sauce.
