These are quintessential snack food in Fiji. Take it up a notch with this special Nimkin made with FMF Normal Flour and serve it with some special chutneys and watch them fly. What you’ll need?
- 2 cups FMF Normal Flour
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tsp jeera (Cummin seed)
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- Chilli to taste
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp ghee or butter
- Pinch of turmeric
- Water to make dough
What to do?
- Sift flour and salt and add 2 tbsp ghee or butter and rub well.
- Add all the spices and water and make a stiff dough. Knead well and let it rest covered for 1/2 an hour. Knead again
- Roll out very thin and cut into desired shapes.
- Heat oil and fry on medium heat until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and put on paper towels.
